TORKUL Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The top-quality TORKUL virgin olive oil (free fatty acids content is less than 0.8% according to Croatian and EU standards) is produced by the manual processing of fresh, handpicked local varieties of olives: Lastovka (70%) and Drobnica (30%) from Vela Luka olive groves, a town famous for centuries-old tradition of top-quality olive oil production.
DROBNICA Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The influence of arid climate from the nearby island of Sušac, offshore position of Vela Luka and little soil between rocks are ideal conditions for the growth of this olive variety. Under such harsh conditions, the olives are small; however, nature has granted us special oil with specific taste and aroma which gives a dose of uniqueness to all Mediterranean dishes, especially fish.
LASTOVKA Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Lastovka is extra virgin olive oil produced from Lastovka olive variety which originated centuries ago in the area of Vela Luka. It found its ideal home precisely under the arid microclimate conditions of Vela Luka and little soil between rocks. Under such harsh conditions, the olives are drupe and small, but the oil produced from them is top-quality, long-lasting, thick and aromatic. It is ideal for use in the Mediterranean cuisine, especially with vegetable dishes which have become culinary specialties with Lastovka.
